We currently have a great opportunity for an Internal Talent Acquisition Specialist For this position, we will allow the qualified individual to work 100% remotely with an expectation that from time to time there may be a requirement to come to the office for in-person meetings. We are looking for a candidate experienced with the local market, thus the successful candidate will need to reside within, or relocate to, a commutable distance to our office in Torrance, CA.

Job Requirements:

  • We are looking for an initiative-taking, organized, self-starter that can work independently to establish and develop a comprehensive recruiting process that encompasses the recruiting lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, resume submittal tracking and hiring top talent 

  • The ideal candidate will have three (3) plus years of demonstrable recruiting experience in the Engineering/Construction industry. Recruiting experience for electrical infrastructure projects for utility owners is preferred, but not mandatory

  • Proven and demonstrable experience with recruiting software such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.

  • Establish creative sourcing and recruitment strategies to proactively find quality candidates and build and maintain talent pipelines and pools for key identified positions

  • Job related technical expertise, including knowledge of applicant tracking systems and recruitment metrics

  • Attend student outreach efforts, college recruiting and professional networking meetings, this new team member will be our Brand Ambassador to attract top talent

  • Use data, analytics, and industry insights to support Talent Acquisition conversations and present information in an effective manner

  • Will be a key team member of our leadership team and work very closely with the Business Services Manager

  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence audiences that may include business leaders, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, candidates, and other stakeholders

  • Ensure the candidate experience is positive irrespective of outcome 

  • Ability to be discreet with confidential company and employee information

  • Proficient computer and software skills to include the use of Word, Outlook), Excel, and creating presentations in PowerPoint

  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and three (3) years of work-related experience, or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eight (7) years if non-degreed

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or applicable HR accreditation, is a strong plus but not mandatory
